Installation Guide

• Mount the M8 x 1 threaded probe case into the machine housing with care.
• Limit thread engagement to 12 mm maximum for the probe case thread.
• Tighten the probe case to 5.1 N·m (45 in·lb) and never exceed 7.3 N·m (65 in·lb).
• Set the probe gap to 1.27 mm (50 mils) for the standard calibration point.
• Keep the cable bend radius at or above 25.4 mm (1.0 in) to avoid damage.
• Use the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with the standard cable.
• Confirm the supply voltage stays between –17.5 Vdc and –26 Vdc.
• Apply 0.565 N·m (0.42 ft·lbf) maximum torque to the connector-to-connector joint.
