Installation & Wiring Guidelines
- Install in a compatible Honeywell HC900 rack. A Euro style 36-terminal block is required for field connections.
- Connect the DC common (negative) of the field supply to the appropriate COM terminal pair for the channel group.
- Connect the switched DC positive wire from field devices (e.g., sensors, contacts) to the desired input terminals.
- Wire channels 1-16 to one common pair and channels 17-32 to the other to maintain isolation between groups.
- Ensure the field power supply is within the 10-32V DC range and can provide the required input current.
- Use proper wire gauges and follow local electrical codes for low-voltage DC wiring.
