Installation Guide
- Mount the probe with an M10 x 1 thread and keep thread engagement within 15 mm maximum.
- Set the recommended gap for radial vibration at –9 Vdc, approximately 1.27 mm (50 mils).
- Use 3 conductor shielded triad cable and tinned field wiring for stable signal transmission.
- Keep field wiring length at or below 305 meters (1,000 feet) between Proximitor Sensor and monitor.
- Review frequency response graphs in Figures 10 and 12 when using longer field wiring runs.
- Install with intrinsically safe zener barriers per drawing 141092 or with galvanic isolators for ia ratings.
- Install with nonincendive circuit connections per drawing 140979 for nA and ec ratings.
