Installation Guidelines
- Mount the module in an S800 series rack with TU890 or TU891 Compact MTU.
- Ensure the ambient temperature does not exceed 55 °C (40 °C for vertical mounting in compact MTU).
- Connect field devices using two-wire connections via the MTU—no additional terminals required.
- Apply 24 V external supply (typ. 250 mA, max. <360 mA) and +5 V ModuleBus (typ. 80 mA).
- Configure open/short circuit supervision through the control system. Front LEDs indicate fault, run, warning, and channel status.
