  • Case & Thread: AISI 304 stainless steel case with M16 x 1.5 thread. Maximum thread engagement length is 24 mm. The unthreaded length is 0 mm, and the overall case length is 50 mm.
  • Cable & Connector: 75 Ω triaxial, FEP insulated cable. The connector is a miniature coaxial ClickLoc type with standard cable. Total length option 10 equals 1.0 metre (3.3 feet).
  • Target & Shaft Specifications: For a flat surface, the recommended minimum target diameter is 30.5 mm (1.2 in). For a shaft, the recommended minimum diameter is 152 mm (6.0 in). These values prevent cross-talk and ensure accuracy.
  • Temperature & Environment: Operating temperature ranges from -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +351°F). Storage temperature is -52°C to +105°C. The probe withstands 100% condensing humidity (non-submersible) when connectors are protected.

Installation & Torque Guidelines

  • Maximum rated case torque: 63.3 N•m (560 in•lb). Recommended case torque: 21.1 N•m (187 in•lb) for the M16x1.5 probe case.
  • Connector-to-connector torque: finger tight (recommended); maximum 0.565 N•m (5 in•lb). Minimum bend radius (with or without armor): 25.4 mm (1.0 in).
  • Do not exceed the temperature limits. Exposing the probe below -34°C (-30°F) may damage the pressure seal.

Temperature Classifications (Probe Only)

  • For EPL Ga & Gc: T1 (-55°C to +232°C), T2 (-55°C to +177°C), T3 (-55°C to +120°C), T4 (-55°C to +80°C), T5 (-55°C to +40°C).
  • For EPL Dc: T280°C @ Ta (-55°C to +232°C), T225°C @ Ta (-55°C to +177°C), T170°C @ Ta (-55°C to +120°C), T130°C @ Ta (-55°C to +80°C), T105°C @ Ta (-55°C to +100°C), T90°C @ Ta (-55°C to +40°C).
