Installation Guide
- Verify the target material and surface finish before mounting the probe.
- Keep the flat target diameter at or above 30.5 mm (1.2 in).
- Keep the shaft diameter at or above 152 mm (6.0 in) to limit cross-talk.
- Engage the M16 x 1.5 thread no deeper than 24 mm.
- Tighten the probe case to 21.1 N•m (187 in•lb) as the recommended torque.
- Never exceed 63.3 N•m (560 in•lb) on the probe case.
- Hand-tighten the connector, then cap torque at 0.565 N•m (5 in•lb).
- Respect a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) on the cable.
- Avoid temperatures below -34°C (30°F) to protect the pressure seal.
