Installation Guidelines
- Ensure the unthreaded length is at least 0.8 inches less than the case length.
- Use the Viton® O-ring for sealing differential pressure between probe tip and case.
- Do not expose the probe to temperatures below –34°C (-30°F) to protect the pressure seal.
- For hazardous areas, install with intrinsically safe zener barriers (drawing 141092) or galvanic isolators.
- For non-incendive circuits, follow drawing 140979 for proper connection.
- The probe thread engagement maximum is 0.563 inches for 3/8-24 UNF.
