Compatibility and Installation Guide
- Works with all SLC 500 processors including SLC 5/01, 5/02, 5/03, 5/04, and 5/05.
- Installs in any I/O chassis slot except Slot 0. Slot 0 is reserved for the CPU or communication adapters.
- For fixed style systems, use the 1746-NT8 with a 1746-A2 chassis.
- For modular systems, place the 1746-NT8 in any open slot after the controller.
- Uses the 1746-RT34 removable terminal block (RTB) for wiring field devices.
- External input devices must have less than 100 Ohms impedance to meet accuracy specifications.
- The module auto-calibrates approximately every 2 minutes after power-up.
