Performance & System Accuracy

• All performance specifications apply to a 3300 5 mm system. This includes the Proximitor Sensor, extension cable, and probe.
• We test these systems between +18°C and +27°C (+64°F to +80°F). We use a -24 Vdc power supply and a 10 kΩ load.
• The system accuracy and interchangeability refer to an AISI 4140 steel target. Using other targets will void these specifications.

Installation Guidelines

• Mount the probe securely using the 3/8-24 UNF thread. Ensure the thread engagement does not exceed 0.563 inches.
• Maintain the target within the linear range of 0.25 to 1.78 mm. Calibrate the system with the AISI 4140 steel target for best results.
• Follow the temperature schedules to avoid exceeding the probe’s thermal limits. Refer to the EPL classifications for safe use.
