Installation & Replacement Notes

• This kit is intended for the replacement of an existing CI868A module in an AC 800M controller rack.
• Power down the controller rack before removing the old module.
• Install the new CI868A module onto the provided TP867 baseplate and secure it in the appropriate slot.
• After hardware installation, configure the IEC 61850 communication parameters in the system engineering tool (Control Builder).
• Ensure the system software (800xA or Compact Control Builder) meets the minimum version requirements for compatibility.
• Return the faulty module according to the provided RMA instructions to complete the exchange process.
