Installation Guide

  • Verify the probe length matches a five meter Proximitor Sensor system.
  • Use the M16 x 1.5 thread to mount the probe case into the machine housing.
  • Apply 21.1 N•m (187 in•lb) torque to the probe case.
  • Never exceed 63.3 N•m (560 in•lb) for the probe case.
  • Hand-tighten the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector.
  • Never exceed 0.565 N•m (5 in•lb) on the connector.
  • Keep the cable bend radius at or above 25.4 mm (1.0 in).
  • Avoid temperatures below -34°C (30°F) to protect the pressure seal.
  • Confirm target size and shaft diameter meet the recommended minimums.
  • Route the FluidLoc cable away from sharp edges and excessive heat.
