Installation Guidelines
- Use the recommended torque values for the probe case to avoid damage. For 3/8-24 or M10x1 cases, apply 11.3 N•m (100 in•lb) as standard practice.
- For the first three threads of the 3/8-24 or M10x1 case, use 7.5 N•m (66 in•lb) to prevent over-tightening.
- Ensure the thread engagement does not exceed 0.563 inches for the 3/8-24 case.
- Do not expose the probe to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) for extended periods; this will protect the pressure seal.
- The 3300 NSv probes use a Viton O-ring for sealing differential pressure between the tip and the case. We do not pressure test probes prior to shipping.
