Installation & Wiring Guidelines
- Install in a compatible Honeywell HC900 rack. The module receives power from the backplane.
- Connect one side of the dry contact to the desired input terminal on the module.
- Connect the other side of the dry contact to one of the four common terminals.
- Multiple contacts can share a common terminal to reduce wiring complexity.
- Ensure the total contact resistance (including wire resistance) does not exceed 1000Ω.
- For long wire runs, consider wire gauge to minimize loop resistance and ensure reliable operation.
- The module is for voltage-free contacts only. Do not connect external voltage sources to the inputs.
